Art show openings at The Gala are a middle ground between those of traditional fine art galleries and event venues. Artists exhibiting here can expect lower commission than traditional galleries and the ability to incorporate food, drink, music, and other interactive event elements of their choosing to fully realize their vision for a show opening. In order to take lower commissions and offer more event services, The Gala takes a fee for exhibitions in the gallery.

Exhibiting at The Gala Includes:

• Private access to The Gala space and gallery

• Gala event coordinator to assist with planning: display, webpage for RSVP or tickets, food trucks, alcohol, audio, installation and custom show features. All of the above are at the artist’s discretion and cost, and The Gala team can help connect you with local, free, or low-cost services in many areas.

• Ability to sell retail products during the show (prints etc.)

• Promotion to The Gala Community

• Work displayed for a period of time ranging from one day to one month, as decided during the booking process

Both the public and members of The Gala are able to host shows in our gallery space.

For non-members, a flat fee of $1500 is charged for a show opening & gallery reception (one night). This price includes displaying in our gallery for a period of time the as decided during the booking process (ranging from one day to one month). During this time, the gallery is open to the public Thu-Sat 10-5 and operated by The Gala team. Non-members pay a 30% commission on all sales which is directly reinvested into tools and materials for The Gala.

For members of The Gala, a flat fee of $1000 includes all of the detailed options in the section above. Members pay 20% commission on all sales which is directly reinvested into tools and materials for The Gala.
