Workspace
$200 monthly (month-to-month) membership for 24/7 access to our makerspace including painting & drawing areas, sculpture, ceramics, silversmithing, fiber art, photography, and more.
The Gala aims to be a long-term creative home for artists growing their careers. Our team works in the makerspace ourselves and it's always evolving. You've invited to bring any of your own tools and materials to use the space how you need.
Tools
Access to our always-expanding collection of communal tools. Easels, drawing boards, canvas stretching; kiln and pottery wheels; hand tools, power tools, clay & plaster tools; silversmithing; sewing machine; lockers, storage, drying racks; utility carts, lighting, and more. Some basic materials also supplied.
Lots of storage, plus long-term archival storage for finished work. If you're not sure if we have the supplies or space you need, just reach out!
Workshops & Events
Free access to all Gala-led workshops including figure drawing (Wed/Thu), community critique, and studio social days (Sat). Also includes all Gala community events like our annual art show, magazine, family dinners, and more.
Members can host workshops in our makerspace and set their own rates for attendance, and can sell their work in our Retail section.
